Unfortunately nothing is free in this world, this includes anti-virus software. To be honest there are some very good free anti-virus solutions around, some unheard of by most end users, such as Clam Anti-Virus. The problem with Clam Anti-Virus is it's not as user friendly as some of the more mainstream commercial products such as Norton, AVG or Eset's NOD32.
Recommended Anti-Virus Software
The anti-virus package recommended by Sheridan Computers is ESET NOD32. We have tested a lot of anti-virus software in the past. We have chosen NOD32 as our computer virus protection. In addition to NOD32, Malware Bytes is our computer virus removal and spyware removal of choice. ComboFix is also one of the tools of the trade, and it's Freeware.
